Your Questions, Answered

  • Getting started with counselling is simple. The first step is to book a free 30-minute consultation, sometimes called a meet-and-greet, where you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if counselling feels like a good fit. This conversation is a relaxed, no-pressure way to connect before moving forward. Appointments can be requested through the website for individuals, children, and families in Stony Plain and the greater Edmonton area.

  • My work is grounded in both counselling and education. As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with advanced training in psychology, inclusive education, and extensive experience supporting families, I bring a unique understanding of how emotional well-being, learning, culture, and family life are deeply connected. I specialize in supporting children, parents, and families navigating school-related stress, homeschooling, parenting challenges, and the unique transitions faced by newcomer and immigrant families. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed, with a strong focus on collaboration, practical support, and strengthening family relationships within the ethical scope of counselling and psychotherapy in Canada.
